Youth Corps
The Youth Corps of Lubbock has been added as one of the benefiting charities to the Giant Side Rally. This organization is a home grown organization that offers annual leadership training, educational opportunities, and general guidance to teenagers from 15-17 years of age. These youths come from a very diverse background from the City of Lubbock and surrounding towns. Many graduates of this program have expressed that their time with the Youth Corps was a very positive life changing experience.
Family Guidance & Outreach Center of Lubbock
The mission of Family Guidance & Outreach Center of Lubbock is the prevention of child abuse and neglect.
As an advocate for children and families, we utilize community resources to equip volunteers and strengthen families by enhancing self-esteem, communication and family unity. By providing friendship, support, life skills, role modeling and education, Family Guidance & Outreach Center positively impacts families.
